Blogmas #4 Winter manicure

It's already the forth post of the Blogmas serie. As befits the great fan (amateur) of nailart I had to take the challenge of creating winter manicure. The idea was brilliant (at least I thought it was). It looked amazing in my mind. The reality is not all roses... Please, don't be too judgemental. I must invest in a good, thin nailasr brush, because I had no choice but to use the dotting tool...
It's far from what it should look like, but taking into consideration the fact that I created this nailart on purpose of this challenge, I could not give up posting this photos.

As a base I used Manhattan Pro Care Nail Repair. The cobalt colour is Vipera Gel Shine&Hold kolor Jester 560. The name of this polish is a complete mistake... As a white I used Essence Nail Art Stampy Polish 001 Stamp me! White. I must admit it wasn't the best idea. It functions well as a stamping polish only. I had to finally buy a white nail polish. The base color on the middle finger and the design on ring finger were created with Golden Rose Color Expert 58. The dotting tool I used I've purchased on ezebra.pl ;) The final look was sprayed with Avon Nail Expert Liquid Freeze.

I hope it's not painful to look at :D I believe that the saying practise makes perfect is true ;)

And what does your winter nails look like? Do you go for thematic designs or do you prefer more a;;-purpose ones? And how does it go with completing the Blogmas challenges? Please comment on the main post (the one written in Polish; feel free to comment in English).
