New Year, new me? about my new year's resolution

I know that it sounds cliché. New year, new aims, new resolutions. Everyone wants to change. Very often by choosing impossible goals. I have never made new year's resolutions before. I have not managed to fulfil them anyway. This year, however, I decided to change that. You should not expect life-changing aims. Let's be realistic ;)

1. Come back to the hair-obsession. About year ago I went to the hairdresser. I was pretty happy about the length of my hair, that is why I asked the hairdresser to cut only the ends. How surprised I was when I left the salon with hair 15 cm shorter ;( In that very moment I decided not to have my hair cut by anyone anymore. I started to search for ways for faster hair growth. I read a lot about the care. I made a whole hair-care plan; started to drink horsetail and nettle, using conditioners, oils, rinses and hair maska ;) My hair appreciated it. And I loved it. However, I came back to the university, had a lot of duties, not much time and started to neglect my hair-care a bit. Now, my aim is to take care of them again ;) Cross your fingers for me :D

2. Start planning my life. When this idea came to my mind I wanted to buy a planner, but I could anything that would suit me, both in the matter of composition and price ;) Taht is why I decided to DIY such calendar. I've already started to fill it, but there's a whole year ahead of me to complete it ;)

3a. More often do things I enjoy - manicure. I definately create not enough nailart. Usually when ther is an occasion. But that must change! Something I enjoy should happen as often as possible ;) Don't you think? Besides, it's a great way of improving once skills ;)

3b. More often do things I enjoy - makeup. I think there's nothing more to say ;) I do my full-glam makeup even more seldom than I do my nails. And blending eyeshadows on my eyelids makes me even happier than applying nail polish ;) I thought that maybe I should start preparing foryou some tutorials or show you my makeup. It would definately make me grab my makeup brushes much more often :D

3c. More often do things I enjoy - reading books. It's going to be hard, since the libraries in my town are rather poorly equipped. However, I'd like to try make the number of read books at least slightly bigger. I used to be a bookworm, I was capable of reading quite long book within a day only. Perhaps I would bring nearer this former fascination for literature.

4. Learn Spannish. I mean the basics, of course ;) I have never learnt this language at school and I have always regreted this fact. I think that it's one of the most beautiful languages. That os why I decided to learn it on my own ;) I started fullfiling this resulution last year. If you would be interested I could write a post about how I learn language from scratch and on my own.

5. Drink more water. I definately drink not enough. Sometimes I have not drunk anything except for morning coffee or tea. I must change it, since I can see the difference in my mood, the condition of my hair, nails and skin.

As you can see, there's not a lot of resolutions. But I believe that it's not about the number, but about keeping them ;) I think that mine are possible to fullfil. And you should be expecting monthly summing-up ;) It will be easier for me to hold on to this plan, if you will be supervising the whole venture.

Do you have any resolutions or do you find it pointless? Are you willing to completely change your life or do you prefer small steps in pursuing your aim? Have you ever fullfiled all of yournew years resolutions? Please comment on the main post (the one written in Polish; feel free to comment in English).
